The Barnett Historic Preservation Foundation has sponsored two books on the history of Barnett Bank. The first, available during the first quarter of 2000, is published by Arcadia Press as part of its "Images of America" series. This book, Images of America: Barnett Bank, is a 128 page, soft cover illustrated history based largely on the photographic collection that the bank accumulated over the years.
The second book is a lengthy, detailed history of the bank. Entitled Barnett: The Story of "Florida's Bank, it is published by the University of Tampa Press, and will be available in September 2001. An outline of the book's content follows:
